Born in New Jersey in 1919. Enlisted April 6, 1942. Served with the 10th Mountain Division, 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment in Company L and the Regimental Headquarters Company. Stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash., Hunter-Liggett Military Reservation, Calif., Fort Ord, Cailf., Camp Hale, Colo., Camp Carson, Colo., and Camp Swift, Tex. Participated in assault of Kiska (Aleutian Island) in 1943 and combat in Italy. Received Bronze Star for actions in Apennines and Po River battles. From the...
